Saudi Arabia introduced on Sunday the deliberate institution of a brand new nationwide low-cost airline with a fleet of 45 planes to be prepared by 2030, state media reported.
The United Arab Emirates’s service Air Arabia was amongst an alliance of three firms that gained a bid to function the brand new airline, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation mentioned.
The new service would function home and worldwide flights from and to King Fahd worldwide airport in Dammam, the authority added.
The airline will serve 24 home locations and 57 worldwide locations, with the intention of transporting 10 million passengers yearly, state media mentioned.
