Armenia officially recognizes State of Palestine

Armenia introduced on Friday its recognition of the State of Palestine, becoming a member of different international locations in doing so amidst the Gaza battle.

The Armenian authorities acknowledged it opposes “violence towards civilian populations.”

“Based on the above and confirming its commitment to international law, equality of nations, sovereignty and peaceful coexistence, the Republic of Armenia recognises the State of Palestine,” Yerevan mentioned.
