Croatia‘s premier stated Tuesday he dismissed Economy Minister Davor Filipovic and his adviser, Jurica Lovrincevic.

The transfer by Andrej Plenkovic got here after the Nacional journal stated Lovrincevic had an irregular settlement with a Zagreb tv station.

“The reason for my decision is the discourse we saw in the media. The correspondence between the former minister’s adviser and a journalist caused great surprise in the government,” Plenkovic stated at a news convention within the nationwide capital, Zagreb.

He stated he misplaced confidence in Filipovic.

“I no longer have confidence in the minister who allowed such events to happen. We will start negotiations for a new name as soon as possible,” stated Plenkovic.

Nacional revealed an article that stated Lovrincevic provided to hire billboards of state-owned corporations and organizations to Mreza TV and requested half of the quantity of the associated fee be deposited into his account.
