Türkiye‘s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met along with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto in Kazakhstan‘s capital Astana, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated.

The talks befell on the sidelines of the assembly of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Astana.

No additional particulars had been supplied concerning the assembly.

Earlier, Fidan stated the Turkic world is more and more institutionalizing and deepening its cooperation, in line with Turkish diplomatic sources.

The OTS, previously referred to as the Turkic Council, was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental group made up of outstanding unbiased Turkic international locations that work collectively to raise relations and union amongst themselves.

Its members are Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, whereas Hungary, Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have observer standing.
