Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu inspected the implementation of the state protection order on Wednesday.
The Defense Ministry stated in an announcement that Shoygu visited a Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (TMAC) plant within the Moscow area.
Shoygu heard a report by the pinnacle of TMAC, Boris Obnosov, on the creation of a number of rocket launchers able to firing guided missiles, it stated.
“The management of the corporation presented to the defense minister of the Russian Federation the latest models of weapons launched into mass production, obtained as part of the operational development and modernization of high-precision weapons,” it stated.
Obnosov advised Shoygu that the manufacturing of high-precision weapons elevated two instances in 2023, and the manufacturing of another weapons three-and-a-half and 5 instances.
Shoygu stated he expects the protection business will be capable to enhance the tempo of manufacturing in 2024 and invited TMAC administration to debate present issues, together with a scarcity of specialists.
