The visitors within the Istanbul Strait was quickly suspended on Saturday evening when a Spain-bound cargo ship malfunctioned, authorities stated.
According to an announcement from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, the Bahamian-flagged ship “SOPHIA Z” suffered a steering malfunction close to the Umuryeri area.
Rescue tugs, a coast guard boat and divers have been dispatched to the scene.
The 190-meter-long (623-feet-long) cargo ship was crusing from Bulgaria to Spain.
The assertion stated the vessel visitors within the Istanbul Strait has been quickly suspended in each instructions.
