Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan can pay an official go to to Lebanon on Tuesday, his ministry introduced.

Fidan can be visiting the nation, which borders Israel, upon the invitation of his counterpart, Abdallah Bouhabib, the Turkish Foreign Ministry mentioned in an announcement.

“During the visit, bilateral relations and regional and global developments will be discussed,” it added.

The go to will come as hostilities between the Palestinian resistance group Hamas and Israel have entered their second week, with the embattled Gaza Strip going through Israeli airstrikes, a cutoff of primary utilities, and an order for over 1 million residents to evacuate their properties within the north and go to the south.

The combating started when Hamas on Oct. 7 initiated Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, a multi-pronged shock assault together with a barrage of rocket launches and infiltrations into Israel by way of land, sea, and air. It mentioned the incursion was in retaliation for the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and elevated settler violence.

The Israeli army then launched Operation Swords of Iron towards Hamas targets inside the Gaza Strip.

The variety of Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza has risen to not less than 2,750, together with 750 kids.

In Israel, 1,300 have been killed.
