A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook Türkiye’s Malatya province Thursday night and was felt within the Adıyaman province, in accordance with the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The first quake’s epicenter was the Battalgazi district and befell at a depth of 6.99 kilometers.
It was adopted by a magnitude-4.7 tremor which befell solely three minutes after the primary one.
No casualties or injury have been reported initially, Malatya Governor Ersin Yazıcı informed state broadcaster TRT.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that no casualties had been reported after the earthquake and that every one emergency and first response groups have been on the sector to observe any injury.
On Feb. 6, twin main quakes shook southeastern Türkiye and northern Syria, killing greater than 50,000 folks and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless.
