Istanbul’s ferry services canceled as southwester effect continues

Most of the ferry providers have been canceled for Wednesday as a result of continuation of a powerful southwester impact. Turkish State Meteorological Service introduced late Tuesday {that a} southwester storm is anticipated all through the week.

The providers of the ferry line, together with Bostancı-Moda-Kadıköy-Kabataş, Bostancı-Karaköy-Kabataş, Maltepe-Adalar, Beşiktaş-Adalar, Avcılar-Bostancı, Avcılar-Bakırköy-Yenikapı-Kadıköy, are halted.

The storm, which began in Istanbul yesterday night, confirmed its impact within the morning hours.

According to the announcement on IDO’s (Istanbul Seabuses) web site, maritime on the Bosporus can be suspended due to opposed climate.

The Marmara area has been hit by a southwestern since Tuesday morning, disrupting maritime visitors within the nation’s most populous metropolis Istanbul and the northwestern province of Bursa.
