Qatar ‘continuing’ mediation efforts to renew Israel-Hamas truce

Qatar is continuous its mediation efforts to resume a truce between Israel and Palestinian resistance group Hamas, Qatari prime minister mentioned Sunday.

He added nevertheless that the continuing Israeli bombardment was “narrowing the window” for a profitable final result.

“Our efforts as the state of Qatar along with our partners are continuing. We are not going to give up,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani informed the Doha Forum greater than two months into the Israel-Hamas battle.

Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, in the meantime, accused Israel of dragging the area “deeper into the sea of death.”

Addressing the discussion board, Safadi mentioned: “We are facing a difficult moment, a moment that will take us deeper into the sea of death and destruction, and Israel simply feels it can do that – it feels unaccountable.”
