Türkiye nabs 58 Interpol wanted criminals in nationwide ops

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya introduced the arrest of 58 suspects wished by 18 nations below an Interpol Red Notice with the “Cage-28” operation carried out concurrently in 11 provinces.

Taking to his social media deal with, Yerlikaya mentioned that the federal government has a resolute stance in opposition to nationwide and worldwide organized crime entities, asserting that they will not tolerate disturbance to public peace, whatever the group’s dimension or the alerts issued in opposition to them.

Yerlikaya underscored the continuing efforts of the police power of their investigations, saying: “I commend our brave police officers who conducted the operation in the early hours of this morning. May they be safeguarded from any harm. Our nation’s prayers are with you. Our government will always pursue and hold accountable terrorists, their accomplices, organized crime syndicates, drug traffickers and criminal networks.”

“They will be dealt with decisively, and this will persist,” Yerlikaya added.
