In an interview with Anadolu Agency (AA) over the telephone on Friday, the top of the Tigray Communication Bureau, Redai Halefom, mentioned the figures may exceed as there are unreported deaths as a result of ongoing hunger within the conflict-plagued Tigray area of Ethiopia.
The official warned that the humanitarian scenario in Ethiopia’s Tigray area continues to deteriorate as “this famine might be the worst of its kind in the modern history of Tigray.”
