Ukrainian troops for the primary time used the so-called hybrid air protection system, which is made up of parts from Soviet and Western manufacturing, Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin stated on Wednesday.
Kamyshin advised a press briefing on the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, which was broadcast on-line, that Kyiv deployed 5 such programs and used one in all them on the battlefield late Tuesday evening.
“One of the (air defense) systems was used for the first time tonight. We have about five such projects in this portfolio, and I am very glad that we have already deployed all these systems on the battlefield,” he stated.
