Death toll hits 12 as Israel ends 2-day raid in West Bank’s Jenin

The Palestinian loss of life toll in a three-day Israeli army operation within the occupied West Bank’s Jenin climbed to 12 Thursday with 25 others injured.

In an announcement, the Palestinian Health Ministry mentioned Mustafa Jabareen, 31, succumbed to the injuries he sustained from Israeli hearth, bringing the tally to 12, together with 4 kids killed because the begin of the Israeli operation Tuesday.

Earlier Thursday, the Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin and its refugee camp, marking the 72nd Israeli army operation in Jenin since final October.

Tensions have been working excessive throughout the West Bank since Israel launched a lethal army offensive towards the Gaza Strip after an incursion by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.

At least 517 Palestinians have since been killed and over 4,900 others injured by Israeli military hearth within the occupied territory, in response to the Health Ministry.

Israel stands accused of genocide in Gaza on the International Court of Justice which in January issued an interim ruling that ordered Tel Aviv to cease genocidal acts and take measures to ensure that humanitarian help is supplied to civilians in Gaza.
