Brown bear kills 41-year-old man in Russias Far East

A brown bear has mauled to dying a 41-year-old man as he walked via a forest in Russia’s Far East, RIA state news company reported on Monday.

The animal has since been killed, RIA reported, citing the pinnacle of the searching division of the Magadan area, which lies practically 6,000 kilometres (3,700 miles) east of Moscow.

“A human body with signs of an attack by a wild animal was found on a forest road,” RIA cited Elena Slobodanyuk, the pinnacle of the searching division, as saying.

“During the examination of this individual, signs were found that it was a brown bear that attacked the person.”

She mentioned the person was on his manner again from a fishing journey when his automobile broke down and he then determined to stroll within the forest at evening.

The inhabitants of the brown bear has been rising within the area, Slobodanyuk mentioned, including that the bears had killed three individuals final 12 months.

Since the start of spring, which Russia marks in the beginning of March, gamekeepers have killed greater than 100 bears within the Magadan area, RIA reported.
