Russia on Tuesday stated that it ensured a secure passage of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) employees to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear energy plant.
“Russian military personnel ensured the safe conduct of the next rotation of observers of the IAEA mission at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant,” a Russian Defense Ministry assertion stated.
For this goal, a cease-fire was declared on the route from the designated crossing level of the observers, which was strictly noticed by Russian servicemen, the assertion stated.
