Russia’s defence ministry accused Ukraine on Saturday of planning to assault the Kursk nuclear energy plant and blame such a “provocation” on Moscow, Interfax news company cited the ministry as saying.
The ministry mentioned Russia would reply harshly within the occasion of such an assault, which it mentioned would contaminate a big surrounding space.
Ukraine launched an incursion into Russia’s western Kursk area on Aug. 6 and has claimed to have taken management of 82 settlements over an space of 1,150 sq. kilometres (440 sq. miles) since Aug. 6.
The Kursk nuclear energy plant, nonetheless, stays underneath Russia’s management.
