The World Health Organization (WHO) stated on Friday that it goals to start the second polio vaccination marketing campaign in Gaza on Oct. 14.
“We have requested (from Israeli authorities) the start of the second round of the polio campaign on the 14th of October,” Ayadil Saparbekov, the crew lead for well being emergencies at WHO within the occupied Palestinian territory, advised a press briefing in Geneva.
Saparbekov stated that the UN company expects the vaccination course of to complete by Oct. 29, including that each days have been communicated with the Israeli authorities, and a gathering shall be held on Sunday to see whether or not they are going to be confirmed.
