The unfolding state of affairs within the northern Gaza Strip is “apocalyptic”, the heads of the key UN businesses stated Friday, warning that its whole inhabitants was at “imminent risk” of loss of life.
“The situation unfolding in North Gaza is apocalyptic… the entire Palestinian population in North Gaza is at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine and violence,” stated the joint assertion from heads of organisations that type the UN Inter-Agency Standing Committee.
