Türkiye’s annual inflation price slowed to 38.10% in March, marking its lowest stage since December 2022, in accordance with official information launched on Thursday.
Headline inflation dropped from 39.05% in February whereas economists polled by Anadolu Agency (AA) had estimated inflation to return in at 38.66%.
Energy costs surged by 41.98% at an annualized tempo in March, easing from 43.92% in February.
Food and nonalcoholic beverage costs elevated 37.12%, in comparison with February’s 35.11%.
On a month-on-month foundation, the patron worth index rose 2.48% in March, accelerated from a 2.27% hike recorded within the prior month.
