US President Donald Trump stated Saturday that Ukraine-Russia talks “might be going OK.”
“I feel Ukraine-Russia is perhaps going OK. And you are going to be discovering out fairly quickly. There’s some extent at which it’s important to both put up or shut up.
“We’ll see what happens, but I think it’s going fine,” Trump advised reporters aboard Air Force One.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a gathering Friday on Ukraine with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg.
Contacts between Russia and the US have been in progress since February to finish the warfare in Ukraine warfare that started in early 2022.
