The grotesque footage, reportedly shared by the troopers themselves on social media, captures the second a strong explosion ranges a constructing in a civilian space, with plumes of blue-tinted smoke rising into the sky — a twisted nod to the celebratory custom of gender reveal events. Laughter could be heard within the background because the digicam pans over the wreckage.
The act underscores the impunity with which Israeli forces proceed to function amid some of the devastating humanitarian crises of the twenty first century.
