Tesla and SpaceX proprietor, American billionaire Elon Musk, introduced plans to “temporarily” launch the driverless “robotaxi” service on June 22.
In an announcement on his X account, Musk mentioned they purpose to begin the robotaxi venture, providing driverless taxi service, in Austin, Texas, on June 22.
Calling the service “temporary,” Musk famous the date may change because of Tesla’s “extreme paranoia about safety.”
US media reported that traders, Wall Street analysts, and automobile fanatics are eagerly awaiting the launch of the driverless service.
Last month, Musk advised CNBC that the taxis would initially be monitored remotely and “geographically limited” to particular areas within the metropolis thought of the most secure.
