Yemen‘s Houthi group launched a video late Tuesday, confirming the assault on the Liberian-flagged bulk service Magic Seas within the Red Sea.
The footage reveals the second the vessel was struck on July 6.
According to Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV, the ship was reportedly focused off Yemen’s coast as a part of the group’s marketing campaign to stop what it calls “enemy-supporting” vessels from transiting the Red Sea or different maritime passages.
Following the Magic Seas assault, the United Arab Emirates mentioned in a press release on Monday that the vessel Safeen Prism responded to the bulker’s misery name.
The UAE’s Foreign Ministry introduced that 22 people, together with crew and safety personnel, had been rescued in coordination with the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) and different maritime authorities.

The Houthis say they’re concentrating on Israel-linked ships in an effort to strain Israel to halt its navy operations in Gaza.
