Russia claimed on Monday that it took management of two settlements in Ukraine‘s japanese Donetsk and southeastern Zaporizhzhia areas.

A press release by the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that its forces captured the village of Mayak, situated about 18 kilometers (11.1 miles) northeast of town of Pokrovsk, a key entrance in ongoing clashes between Moscow and Kyiv’s forces within the Donetsk area.
