Turkish Technic, the upkeep, restore and overhaul (MRO) arm of the nationwide flag provider Turkish Airlines (THY), has signed a cope with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) for upkeep companies of seven Airbus A330 plane, an announcement stated on Tuesday.
Under the deal, the primary plane’s upkeep started in Istanbul this week. The assertion states that the remaining six plane might be serviced at Turkish Technic’s services within the coming months.
“Our high-quality services, reliable turnaround times and commitment to exceeding customer expectations set us apart as the trusted partner for new customers,” stated Yasin Birinci, chief technical officer of Turkish Technic.
The settlement will pave the best way for a long-term partnership between each events, he added.
“SWISS is to explore the key strategic partners for MRO in the years to come. Turkish Airlines, with its big A330 fleet, is experienced with the product and we expect competitive performance,” Claus Bauer, SWISS’ vice chairman in command of technical fleet administration, stated.
