Turkish trade minister vows to work on enhancing trade with Egypt

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat attended on Tuesday a reception celebrating the National Day of Egypt, emphasizing the significance of strengthening commerce, funding and cultural relations between Ankara and Cairo.

The reception was hosted by Egypt’s Ambassador to Ankara, Amr Elhamamy, Bolat mentioned on X, previously Twitter.

“As Türkiye, we place nice significance on strengthening our commerce, funding and cultural relations with Egypt,” Bolat acknowledged.

“We will proceed to work on rising our commerce quantity and diversifying our areas of cooperation with Egypt, with whom we now have deep-rooted financial relations. We consider that creating cooperation between Türkiye and Egypt will positively contribute to regional peace and prosperity,” he added.
