The French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty was searched on Monday, as part of footballer Neymar’s switch investigation, French media reported.
Several departments of the tax administration of the ministry have been searched after news broke in France of a potential tax favor that may have been granted to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2017 for the switch of Brazilian star Neymar, the stories stated.
There was no official remark concerning the challenge but.
After enjoying for Barcelona since 2013, Neymar Jr. signed with PSG in 2017 for a report charge of €222 million ($262 million), which is the report for the costliest switch in soccer historical past.
