The trial of three males accused of making an attempt to extort the household of former Formula One driver Michael Schumacher is ready to conclude Wednesday with a verdict.
Two of the defendants – a father and son – have already confessed earlier than the Wuppertal District Court in western Germany.
The third, a former safety worker of the Schumachers, has remained silent. He is accused of passing on the fabric to the primary defendant and his son.
Michael Schumacher, a report seven-time Formula One world champion, has been shielded from the general public eye by his household since a snowboarding accident in 2013 left him with a severe head damage.
The Schumacher household was blackmailed with the specter of the publication of personal images and movies until they paid 15 million euros ($15.5 million).
According to the general public prosecutor’s workplace, 900 photos, practically 600 movies and Schumacher’s digitized medical data have been seized.
