Amazon mentioned on Monday it might make investments as much as $4 billion in AI agency Anthropic, as the net retail large steps into an AI race dominated by Microsoft, Google and OpenAI.
“We have tremendous respect for Anthropic’s team and foundation models, and believe we can help improve many customer experiences, short and long-term, through our deeper collaboration,” mentioned Amazon CEO Andy Jassy.
