Social media platform X went down for practically 11,000 customers on Monday, which proprietor Elon Musk stated was the results of a cyberattack.
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved,” Musk stated in a put up on the platform.
X was going through intermittent outages in line with Downdetector, limiting 10,700 customers within the U.S. from accessing the platform, as of 1.14 pm ET.
The variety of outage experiences rose to round 26,579 after falling briefly, user-submitted knowledge on the outage-tracking web site confirmed. The quantity was as excessive as 40,000 earlier within the day.
