Turkish-made guided MAM-T munitions hit their goal “with pinpoint accuracy” throughout a navy train in southwestern Türkiye, the nation’s National Defense Ministry stated Thursday.
“The MAM-T shot from the Aksungur UCAV was carried out with pinpoint accuracy,” the ministry stated on X as Türkiye’s large-scale Seawolf-II drill continued.
Aksungur is an unmanned fight aerial car (UCAV) developed and produced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).
The ministry additionally stated that in the course of the train, naval air parts “performed vertical resupply from submarine to helicopter and forest firefighting training.”
Seawolf-II, involving over 15,000 personnel, started on Tuesday is ready to proceed till May 18 in and off the Mediterranean district of Marmaris to check the operational capabilities of the Turkish Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard in a simulated warfare surroundings.
The train contains live-fire drills, port visits, and demonstrations utilizing new weaponry.
