‘Back to school’ bell rings as winter break ends across Türkiye

More than 20 million college students in major and secondary schooling establishments affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) will begin the second semester of the 2023-2024 educational yr on Monday, after the 16-day semester break.

Students, who had their first break of the tutorial yr, which began in 74,000 faculties throughout Türkiye, on Nov. 13-17, 2023, acquired their report playing cards on Jan. 19 and began the lengthy semester break.

The second semester of the 2023-2024 educational yr will begin on Monday, Feb. 5 and finish on Friday, June 14.

The second semester break will happen between April 8-12.

The 2024-2025 educational yr will begin on Sept. 9.
