Estonia will signal contracts totaling round €200 million ($211 million) for the procurement of armored automobiles from Türkiye for the Estonian Defense Forces (EDF), in response to a report revealed Monday.
More than 200 automobiles will likely be allotted to the Estonia Defense Forces’ 2nd infantry brigade, stated the state-run ERR news company, citing the Estonia Center for Defense Investments. The brigade has reportedly witnessed substantial funding lately.
Furthermore, 4 armored automobiles will likely be dispatched to the Estonian Rescue Agency for demining functions, in response to the company.
The Defense Ministry is predicted to finalize contracts Wednesday, with Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler planning to go to Estonia on the event.
