The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 235 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea after Greek authorities pushed them again into Turkish territorial waters, based on an announcement Tuesday.
Coast guard models saved 36 irregular migrants from a rubber boat off Aydin’s Kusadasi and Didim districts, whereas 19 have been rescued off Bodrum district in Mugla province, mentioned the Turkish Coast Guard.
Teams additionally rescued 180 irregular migrants off the districts of Urla, Menderes, Seferihisar and Karaburun in Izmir province.
The migrants have been transported to the provincial migration division.
Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful observe of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of susceptible migrants, together with ladies and kids.
