At least 17 individuals had been killed in a blast that focused a mosque in northern Afghanistan on Friday, in line with native sources.
The explosion occurred on the Takiakhana Imam Zaman mosque within the metropolis of Pol-e-Khomri, the capital of Baghlan province, throughout congregational Friday prayers, the sources stated.
Harkat-e-Islami Afghanistan, a political social gathering, stated: “15 to 20 worshipers have been martyred in this tragic incident.”
Most of these attending prayers had been from the Shiite sect.
