The Russian Defense Ministry stated on Sunday that two Tu-95MS strategic bombers of the Aerospace Forces carried out a coaching flight over the impartial waters of the Chukchi Sea.
Su-35s and Su-30SM fighter jets accompanied the bombers throughout greater than 10-hour flight, which was a part of the Ocean-2024 navy workouts that began on Sept. 10, the ministry stated in a press release.
During the flight, the crew carried out coaching strikes with air-launched cruise missiles in opposition to vital targets of a simulated enemy, it added.
