A second Palestinian journalist has died of extreme burns he sustained in an Israeli strike on a media tent in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis a day earlier, native media mentioned.
Footage confirmed Ahmed Mansour, a reporter for Palestine Today news company, and Helmy al-Faqawi burning alive after the strike on the tent close to Nasser Hospital on Monday.
According to the official news company WAFA, Mansour breathed his final early Tuesday. Eight extra journalists had been injured within the henios assault.
The Israeli military confirmed the assault Monday, claiming that the strike focused journalist Hassan Elslayeh, who Tel Aviv claims is a Hamas member. The navy mentioned that Elslayeh was injured within the assault.
At least 211 Palestinian journalists have been killed in Israeli assaults within the Gaza Strip since October 2023, in keeping with native authorities.
