Armenia, U.S. kick off joint military drill

Armenia and the U.S. kicked off the joint navy train Eagle Partner 2024 on Monday.

The opening ceremony for the train occurred on the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy within the capital Yerevan, the official news company Armenpress reported.

During the ceremony, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan together with the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, Kristina Kvien, and different officers have been current.

Eagle Partner 2024, geared toward getting ready forces for participation in worldwide peacekeeping missions, is being held from July 15-24.

It includes the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade in addition to troopers from the U.S. Army’s European and African instructions and the Kansas National Guard.

In September final 12 months, Armenia and the U.S. carried out Eagle Partner 2023 to boost interoperability ranges amongst items taking part in worldwide peacekeeping missions.
