At least 10 killed, dozens missing in Mexican church roof collapse

At least 10 individuals had been killed and dozens of others had been injured or trapped below rubble after a church roof collapsed throughout Sunday mass in a northern Mexican metropolis.

Working below floodlights, navy personnel supported emergency companies utilizing rescue canines and earth-moving gear to establish and dig out survivors from the ruins of the church in Ciudad Madero, a metropolis on the Gulf coast close to the port of Tampico.

Footage on social media confirmed the second the church roof caved in, puffs of grey smoke billowing into the air, adopted by the toppling of yellow brick outer partitions.
