Auroras around the world: Beautiful phenomenon or threat?

The northern lights are sometimes noticed solely in polar areas. However, they’ve lately been seen at decrease latitudes like Türkiye, Germany, and China. So, why is that this occurring, and does it pose an actual hazard?
