Bidens new Israel policy appointee seen as major proponent of arms shipments to Tel Aviv

The Biden administration has appointed a senior diplomat seen as a proponent of weapons transfers to Israel to a brand new position in shaping US coverage on the Israeli-Palestinian battle, in line with a US media report, citing sources aware of the matter.

Mira Resnick is taking on the position of the deputy assistant secretary for Israeli-Palestinian affairs within the State Department’s Middle East workplace after Andrew Miller left the place this summer season, the Huffington Post reported.
