A serious IT outage hit British Airways on Monday because the UK’s flag-carrier reportedly misplaced all communications with plane round Europe, requiring the grounding of some flights.
The airline’s web site can be down, with all communications misplaced with flights, in line with a number of media studies.
The reported glitch left pilots unable to file flight plans electronically, having to manually name into the provider’s operations heart at Heathrow Airport, reported Mirror, a British each day.
Down Detector, an internet site malfunction tracker, recorded an infinite spike in points with the British Airways web site and app on Monday night, beginning at 5 p.m. GMT.
