Two suspects carrying an axe and a knife tried to interrupt right into a mosque in Winnipeg, in Canada’s Manitoba province on Tuesday.
At about 4 a.m. Tuesday, a volunteer cleaner on the Abu Bakr Al-Siddique Community Centre in Winnipeg heard a loud bang.
Shaqir Shaikh went to analyze and noticed two folks, one holding an axe and the opposite a knife, he instructed CTV News.
“I simply shouted loudly and I simply locked the door and I simply known as (emergency quantity) 911,” stated Shaikh.
Police shortly arrived however the suspects had fled the scene, he stated.
Mosque director Adnan Siddiqui stated the Muslim group is worried by the assault.

Siddiqui stated the mosque door must be changed and safety on the middle shall be beefed up.
