China stated it’s working with the U.S. to renew top-level army communications on Thursday.
“China and US defense authorities are communicating and coordinating on resuming high-level military communications,” stated Wu Qian, spokesman for the Chinese Defense Ministry, in line with Beijing-based China Daily.
Beijing had snapped top-level army dialogue with the Pentagon after then-U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi paid an unannounced journey in August final 12 months to Taiwan, which China considers its “breakaway province.”
