China vowed Wednesday it will not settle for “criticism or pressure” over its ties with Russia, after Washington warned that it’s going to maintain Beijing accountable if Moscow makes features in Ukraine.
“China and Russia have the right to engage in normal economic and trade cooperation,” stated overseas ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, including: “This kind of cooperation should not be interfered with… China also does not accept criticism or pressure”.
