Queen Margrethe of Denmark has been hospitalized following a fall at Fredensborg Castle, native media reported on Thursday.

She was admitted to Rigshospitalet on Tuesday night for statement, based on the DRTV.

Despite the autumn, the Queen is reported to be in steady situation, however will stay within the hospital for monitoring, the media outlet reported citing a press release by the Royal House.

Due to her hospitalization, the Queen’s deliberate participation within the fifth anniversary celebration of the Department of Archaeology at Aarhus University has been canceled, confirmed the Royal House’s web site.

Although Queen Margrethe has handed her royal duties to her son, King Frederik, she stays lively in official engagements.
