In a landmark achievement, the Turkish girls’s nationwide volleyball crew has secured their place within the semifinals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The Sultans of the Net delivered an exciting efficiency, overcoming China 3-2 in a gripping quarterfinal match.
Captain Eda Erdem Dündar led her crew with fervor, reflecting on the monumental victory.
“We confronted an exceptionally sturdy crew and fought laborious for each level,” she famous.
Despite shedding the primary set, the strategic changes, together with standout performances from Derya Cebecioğlu and Meliha Diken, bolstered the crew for a decisive fifth set.
Dündar praised her teammates, highlighting their resilience and collective effort, regardless of accidents and absences.
“This is an unbelievable feeling. We’ve missed out on the quarterfinals for a very long time, and now we’re within the ultimate 4. We consider we will obtain much more,” she mentioned
