France on Wednesday declared two Azerbaijani diplomats “persona non grata.”
A press release by the French Foreign Ministry mentioned that its resolution to expel the diplomats from the Azerbaijani Embassy was made as a “measure of reciprocity,” including that it additionally summoned Azerbaijan’s ambassador in Paris on the identical day.

On Tuesday, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry declared two French diplomats persona non grata, saying their actions had been “incompatible with their diplomatic status.”
In a press release, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry mentioned that it summoned French Ambassador Anne Boillon to protest the habits of the workers of the French mission.
Boillon was knowledgeable that the expelled diplomats have to depart Azerbaijan inside 48 hours.
