Germany would not count on US involvement within the Israel-Iran warfare, and Berlin is working with European companions for a diplomatic resolution to the battle, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul mentioned on Monday.
“The United States made clear from the beginning that they would not participate in this war. That was the very first statement from colleague Marco Rubio,” Wadephul mentioned in an interview with public broadcaster Deutschlandfunk radio.
When requested in regards to the Israeli authorities’s latest request for the US to hitch its army marketing campaign towards Iran, Wadephul emphasised that this resolution rests solely with the Trump administration, not the Netanyahu authorities.
